Which Pathology pages actually need colourcolour
Histopathology is colour by definition — H&E, special stains and immunohistochemistry all encode the diagnosis in hue. Printed in black and white an eosinophilic cytoplasm and a basophilic one look identical, which makes the slide useless.
Binding
How we would bind it
Above about 500 pages a single spiral stops lying flat and the coil starts to tear the first pages. We split Pathology sets of this size into two volumes, or hard-bind them if they are going on a shelf rather than into a bag. Binding is ₹40 per bound volume either way, so splitting a set into two costs ₹40 more, not double.
