Read Williams systematically with the clinic case mix, use the Oxford Handbook for dynamic test protocols, and register the thesis. Start Joslin during the diabetes posting.
Add Jameson/De Groot for depth, Werner and Ingbar for the thyroid block and Speroff for reproductive endocrinology; read Endocrine Society guidelines as encountered.

DrNB Endocrinology theory follows the standard NBE superspecialty pattern: three papers, 100 marks and three hours each, short-notes format, pass at 150/300. The 300-mark practical is attempted only after clearing theory and combines clinical cases and/or OSCE with viva. Endocrine practicals emphasise dynamic hormone test interpretation, assay methodology and imaging alongside the clinical cases.

Williams Textbook of Endocrinology by Melmed, Auchus, Goldfine, Rosen, Kopp is the usual anchor. The single most important text; theory answers are expected to reflect it.
DrNB Endocrinology is a superspecialty course taken after a broad-specialty MD, MS or DNB, so the reading is narrower and deeper. The broad-specialty texts are assumed knowledge by the time you start.
