The NMC guideline prescribes four theory papers: basic sciences; principles of reproductive medicine and laboratory techniques; fertility-associated diseases, genetics and ethics; and recent advances. The clinical/practical and oral examination comprises one long case of up to 60 minutes and two short cases of 30 minutes each, together with charts (USG, sperm, embryos), specimens (images), case scenarios and instruments (drugs and disposables), plus a comprehensive oral examination.

Speroff's Clinical Gynecologic Endocrinology and Infertility by Hugh S. Taylor, Lubna Pal, Emre Seli is the usual anchor. The central text for the whole subject; NMC lists it too.
MCh Reproductive Medicine & Surgery is a superspecialty course taken after a broad-specialty MD, MS or DNB, so the reading is narrower and deeper. The broad-specialty texts are assumed knowledge by the time you start.
